These precepts are not rules to obey, but invitations to live with awareness —
to honor silence, respect energy, and share space in harmony.
They exist so that each being who enters may rest, reconnect, and remember the stillness that was never lost.

The Five Ways of Living Consciously

Harmlessness

We commit to non-harming — in thought, word, and deed.
Every living being is sacred. We do not kill, exploit, or hurt.
Our kitchen is fully vegetarian, and we move gently through nature.

Truthfulness

We speak with integrity and compassion, or we remain silent.
Words carry energy; let them heal, not harm.

Clarity

We abstain from alcohol, drugs, and intoxicants that cloud the mind.
The purpose here is awareness — to see clearly, feel deeply, and be present.

Respect

We honor each other’s rest, privacy, and boundaries.
Sound, light, and movement are kept mindful.

Simplicity

We consume consciously and leave no trace.
We keep our spaces minimal, our actions purposeful, and our hearts light.



House Guidelines

Silence Hours

10:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m. — time for the house to breathe in stillness.

Digital Quiet

Keep devices silent or off in common areas.

Shared Spaces

Leave areas clean and harmonious for the next person.

Kitchen

Vegetarian only. Cook with gratitude; label your food.

Pool & Garden

Spaces of contemplation — no loud music.

Dress Code

Modest, comfortable, mindful.

Visitors

Only by prior consent.

Nature

Honor plants, animals, and elements as teachers.

Daily & Weekly Practice

To live here is to live meditatively.
Each day follows the rhythm of silence and awareness:

  • Morning and evening meditations
  • Breakfast in silence or soft conversation
  • Work, rest, & create mindfully
  • Weekly art or reflection session
  • Weekly yoga & nature immersion
These rhythms are not obligations but opportunities to deepen presence.
